We found 33 commercial humanoid robot families. Just one full-size model targets the home
A review of 74 RoboZaps listings found 33 current, commercially addressable bipedal families. Twenty-nine target work or development; only one full-size model targets the home.

The commercial humanoid robot boom is not coming to your house. It is going to work.
The industry's viral image is an all-purpose machine folding laundry, serving drinks or moving through a home. The commercial market taking shape in 2026 looks very different: factory deployments, warehouse work, robotics programs and managed trials with large companies.
RoboZaps reviewed 74 listings in its humanoid robot catalogue and found 33 current bipedal families with a manufacturer-backed route to a customer. Twenty-nine were built for work or development. Only four served the home, education or broader consumer market. Just one was a full-size humanoid explicitly pitched for the home, and it was taking preorders rather than making immediate deliveries.
Humanoids are becoming commercial products. Their first real customers are overwhelmingly businesses and developers, not households.
Commercial humanoid robots are going to factories first
Figure has put its humanoid on a BMW production line and signed another commercial deployment agreement. UBTECH says Walker S2 has entered mass production and begun deliveries. Agility Robotics offers Digit through enterprise deployments and Robots-as-a-Service agreements. Boston Dynamics says its initial 2026 Atlas production is committed to Hyundai and Google DeepMind.
Those are meaningful commercial milestones, but they describe a market that looks more like industrial automation than consumer electronics. Customers negotiate deployments, prepare sites and rely on the manufacturer for support. They are buying an operational system, not taking home an appliance.
Factories and warehouses also offer repeatable tasks and controlled environments. Homes contain stairs, clutter, children and pets, and a household robot has to handle many unrelated jobs at a price ordinary buyers can accept. University of Washington robotics professor Maya Cakmak has noted that optimistic studies of home humanoids often assume extensive safety testing, regulatory approval and insurance, conditions that may remain far from reality.
The question is no longer whether a humanoid can produce an impressive demonstration. It is whether the machine can earn a place in a real workflow. Manufacturers are finding that place at work first.
A shopping cart, a reservation or a sales call
The word “available” hides three different markets.
The most familiar route is direct ordering. Unitree lists the G1 and R1 through its online store. Even there, configuration, stock, shipping and support affect what a buyer can actually receive.
The second route is a paid place in line. 1X NEO can be preordered with a $200 deposit. NEURA Robotics describes its €100 reservation for 4NE1 as refundable and says availability is expected at the end of 2026. Money changing hands is stronger evidence than a waitlist, but a reservation is not a robot ready to ship.
The third, and most common among work-focused machines, is enterprise procurement. A buyer requests a quote, discusses the job and site, negotiates support and may lease the robot or pay for it as a service. Digit and Atlas fit this model, as do many machines entering factories through named partnerships.
Humanoid robot prices can be just as slippery as availability. Unitree's H1 shop showed a $90,000 reference price, then told buyers to contact the company for the real price. Kepler announced the K2 at RMB 248,000. A deposit, a reference price and a negotiated deployment cost are not interchangeable.
For buyers, the useful verb matters more than the headline claim: order, reserve, request a quote, lease or deploy. Each describes a different level of access and market maturity.
The number that matters is four
Only four qualifying families sat outside the work-and-development market: 1X NEO, Maxtronics NAO6, Noetix Dora and Robosen K1 Pro.
Even that group stretches the meaning of “consumer.” NAO6 is aimed at education and research and is sold through a quote. Dora uses an intended-order process. K1 Pro is available through a manufacturer cart, but at consumer and STEM scale. Only NEO is presented as a full-size humanoid for the home, and its commercial route currently begins with a preorder.
The robots are real. Manufacturers are taking deposits, shipping selected products, signing deployment agreements and committing fleets. But those advances are concentrated where businesses can absorb high costs, narrow the task and support the machine.
For households, the humanoid future remains mostly a promise. For employers and developers, an early market is already here.
The near-term humanoid revolution will arrive a few robots at a time, inside factories, warehouses and research programs, where the race to make them useful has already begun.
Methodology
RoboZaps, which publishes the catalogue used in this analysis, froze the 74 rows returned by its live Humanoids filter on July 16, 2026. The review counted one current bipedal family when first-party evidence showed a manufacturer-backed order, paid reservation or preorder, product-specific quote, lease or Robots-as-a-Service route, commercial delivery or committed external fleet. Duplicate listings, configurations and predecessor generations were consolidated. Thirty-three families qualified: 29 work or developer families and four home, education or consumer families. Thirty-eight rows did not clear the test, while three remained unresolved. Sources were rechecked July 20, 2026. The result describes the frozen RoboZaps catalogue, not the entire global market. The family-level evidence table lists all 33 inclusions, their commercial routes, primary sources and caveats.
